Your inner ape: how to deal with an extended evolutionary family
Humans. We think we are special. At the top of the hierarchy in the animal kingdom. But, taking the question seriously of who we are and where we come from we arrive at the inevitable conclusion: we are tropical apes who have adapted to a global existence.
This has unprecedented consequences for the rest of the planet. Humans can now be compared to a geological force changing climate and biodiversity at an unparalleled scale. How did this happen? How can it be that an African primate evolved into the single most destructive species in earth’s history?
Peter C. Kjærgaard will take us through our evolutionary history — a history with lots of sex, hairy family members, and exciting adventures.
Afterwards, evolutionary cocktails and Hymns for Hearts, with sadness, joy, paranoia and nostalgia, with simple, yet strong melodies and open sound capes for which the music leaves every room vibrating and wondering, will be presenting their recently released record.
